- Active Community Alliances: We strategically collaborate with key national bodies including the French Federation of Churches (FEDOC), the St. Maarten Christian Council (CC), the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), and the Government of Sint Maarten Dynamic Committee Network: Our multi-faceted operational structure drives real-world impact through specialized committees handling Youth, Humanitarian Aid, Public Relations, District Prayer, and the Believers Connection Convention. National Mandates: SMUMF proudly champions and facilitates two distinct national decrees that legally obligate the government to fund and host essential ecumenical services : National Day of Prayer: Held annually on the second Sunday of January to intercede for the 7 key pillars of society (Government, Law Enforcement, Media, Business, Education, Church, and Family) - National Thanksgiving Service: Held annually on the first Sunday of December to mark the safe transition out of the hurricane season into a time of gratitude and light.
